Aarzoo-e-wafa abh bhula deni chahiye
Bicharne walo ko bas duwa deni chahiye
Seene mein jalti huyi ye barso ki aag
Abh ye dil kehta hei bujha deni chahiye
Marz ishq ka la-dawa hei mein janti hu
Magar phir bhi ek baar dawa deni chahiye
Ujad sakta hei khwabon ka gulistan bhi
Ujaadne wale ko lekin saza deni chahiye
Tutt jate he khwab mukamal hone se pehle
Khwab dekhne walo ki neend uda deni chahiye
Raakh mohabbat ki kaber se udne lagi hei
Wafayein abh khakh mein mila deni chahiye
Sar-e-bazaar tamasha ban gaya hei ye dil
Iss dil ko mere abh aag laga deni chahiye
